Farm Business Management Introductory & Advanced Certificate
This farm management program is for farm owners, managers, renters, or workers with decision-making responsibilities. Highly qualified instructors provide group and one-on-one farm management, marketing, and financial training in this program. You will receive classroom instruction at local training centers throughout the NTC district as well as individualized on-farm instruction each year. Classes will originate at the Medford & Antigo Campus and be broadcasted ITV to the Phillips, Spencer & Wittenberg Campuses. About Us

Scott Mickelsen joins the NTC team from Iowa Lakes Community College where he has served as an Assistant Professor of Agriculture since 2001. Scott has a PhD in Agriculture Education from Iowa State University where he served as a Teaching Assistant. He brings with him a strong commitment to community college education and experience building and strengthening technical programs.

Melissa Klein joined the NTC in January 2008. She comes from a dairy farm in south east Minnesota. Melissa has an Associates Degree in Agriculture Sales and Service from Northeast Iowa Community College, home to the program that is the model for Dairyland State Academy. She also has a Bachelors Degree in Marketing/Communications with a Agriculture Emphasis from UW – River Falls.

Tracy Anderson joined NTC as their newest full time agriculture instructor this fall. She grew up in the Madison area with a strong agriculture background and a passion for education. Tracy received her Bachelors of Science degree in Agriculture Education from Texas A&M University and has been teaching the past five years in Texas and now is glad to be back "home."
