The following label-building skills are intended to make it easier for you to use nutrition labels to make quick, informed food choices that contribute to a healthy diet.
Recipes Finder (USDA)
The Food Stamp Nutrition Connection Recipe Finder is a database of recipes for use by nutrition educators working with the Food Stamp Program eligible population. Staff from other Food and Nutrition Service nutrition assistance programs may also find the recipes suitable for their target audiences.

service professionals, parents, families and kids. A fun and
easy way to learn and teach nutrition, Nutrition Explorations
was developed by the National Dairy Council.
UW-Nutritional Sciences - UW-Extension
Provides education promoting family strengths and help communities become positive environments for family life. Within Family Living, Programs, 'Eating Well and Being Active' is one of the teams that respond to community needs with research-based nutrition education and partnerships. The Wisconsin Nutrition Education Program (WNEP) and its companion Wisconsin Nutrition Education Network coordinate statewide efforts to offer community-based nutrition education programs that are targeted to meet the nutrition education needs of limited-income individuals and families.
Dietary Guidelines for Americans
The Guidelines provide authoritative advice for people two years and older about how good dietary habits can promote health and reduce risk for major chronic diseases. They serve as the basis for Federal food and nutrition education programs.
