National 4-H Week

This week is designated to celebrate 4-H and highlight the remarkable 4-H youth and volunteers in our community.

The National 4-H Week Events include Manic Mondays, The 4-H Open House, and the Bowling Tournament.

  • Manic Mondays begin! Cloverbud leaders: Monday, Oct. 1 at 9 p.m.¬†Each Monday night in October, adult and youth leaders who work with Cloverbuds are welcome to join in the Facebook Live presentation of a Wisconsin 4-H Cloverbud lesson at 9 p.m. Megan will present the lesson live, and everyone is welcome to ask questions in real time. This course is offered over the internet – please tune in! (Presentations will be archived. Check back when you have time.)
  • 4-H Open House, Thursday, October 5, 4:30 – 7 p.m., Room 5, 212 River Drive, Wausau. Join us for a fun evening of activities and to have any of your questions answered. Prizes, Food, Fun! Bring prospective members to see what 4-H is all about!
  • Marathon County 4-H Bowling Tournament – Rose Bowl Lanes, Marshfield on Saturday, October 7th. Registration at noon, bowling begins at 1 p.m. Room for 24 teams: Please sign up today! Older youth division: age 12 & up! Younger youth division: age 11 and under. $5 per bowler, cost will likely be lower.¬† Register today:
