Welcoming our New Marathon County 4-H Program Coordinator

We would like to announce the newest addition to the Marathon County UW-Extension staff! Kaitlyn Bernarde is the new Marathon County 4-H Program Coordinator. Previously she was the Fair Administrator for the Wisconsin Valley Fair, and summer 4-H intern. A Marathon native, Kaitlyn grew up in the Marathon County 4-H program and was actively involved in the Wien Wildcats 4-H club for 14 years. She was active in numerous 4-H projects including Dairy, Cake Decorating, Cultural Arts, and crop projects.

After high school, Kaitlyn attended UW-Marathon County for one year before transferring to UW-Madison. In 2016, she graduated with a B.A. in Political Science, and wanted to return to northcentral Wisconsin. In her spare time, Kaitlyn enjoys spending time with her husband Brad, and family, watching and playing sports, scrapbooking, and getting a cup of coffee. Kaitlyn is excited to get to know the Marathon County youth members and leaders better, assist current programs, and work together to grow it. Feel free to stop by and say hi, or give Kaitlyn a call. You can reach her at either 715-261-1244 or kaitlyn.bernarde@ces.uwex.edu.

Welcome Kaitlyn!
